ASSISTIVE DEVICES for UPPER EXTREMITY AMPUTEES and persons with HAND DYSFUNCTION or PARTIAL HAND AMPUTATION: Texas Assistive Devices (TAD) offers a unique interchangeable prosthetic tool system for UPPER EXTREMITY AMPUTEES and persons with HAND DYSFUNCTION or PARTIAL HAND AMPUTATION. The system is meant to temporarily replace the hook or prosthetic hand on either body-powered or electronic UE prostheses, or to work with a WHO brace (soft or custom-made). TAD's components include a terminal device with a pitch adjustment of 60 degrees including 360 degrees of rotation. The universal push-button quick insert-release terminal device is capable of utilizing a wide selection of custom designed and crafted interchangeable tools and implements including dining or cooking utensils, grooming implements, and tools for gardening, carpentry, mechanic work, sports, crafts, activities of daily living, etc. These components allow the user to perform jobs, chores and duties that he or she might be unable to do efficiently or safely without help from an assistant.
